Yes, we know that for many of you this will be a bit of a disappointment. And we completely understand. For many years, the book has been part of the journey. It’s been in your motorhomes, in the glove compartment, on the dashboard, or on the table while you were deciding where to spend the next night. It’s not an easy decision for us either.

In the heart of the province of Valencia, surrounded by vineyards and rural landscapes, lies one of the most unique wineries in the Requena region: Bodegas Ladrón de Lunas. This project stands out not only for the quality of its wines, but also for the way it combines history, architecture, and an identity deeply rooted in tradition and legend.

A trip down memory lane, glass in hand. Long before wine tourism existed, Giró del Gorner was already a place of rest for travelers. Carriages would stop here so the horses could drink water and their passengers could regain their strength before continuing on their way. That welcoming spirit lives on today thanks to Marta and Gabi

To maintain the positive atmosphere that characterizes the España Discovery network, we encourage you to follow the Golden Rules at each stop: introduce yourself upon arrival (preferably before sunset), use the facilities in a moderate and considerate manner, respect the winery’s rules, and say goodbye when you leave.
