A visual journey through Valencia and its surroundings, in order to discover the elements of its essence. A book for children, but also a work of cultural, pedagogical and touristic interest. "Ecosistemas, València" is a band with the current theme of "Ecosistemas, València" and the background, which appears when we walk through the city's streets and nature comes into the picture.
But what is a "Wimmelbücher"? Wimmelbücher is an art form of German bookbinding with a long tradition in Germany, which is still little known in Spain. Es handelt sich um Kinderbücher aus laminierter Pappe (600 g), in denen verschiedene Stadtteile gezeigt werden, während man die auf jeder Seite erscheinenden Figuren begleitet. They do not have any of the famous pictures or stories that make an open, original and very special right, while the children have fun and learn about their own city by reading about it through the rewriting of parts of it.

When we began to work on the content of the book, it became clear to us that our city of Valencia is much more for us than just emblematic buildings and places. Many of our guests are even a little outside the city walls. Therefore, we have decided to take a closer look at the city and not only at the city (Ciutat Vella), but also at the various ecosystems, to which it belongs and which the city is experiencing in a certain way: die Gärtnerei, die Ankunft am Meer (port-marina), der Naturpark Albufera oder das alte Flussbett, das heute in einen Park umgewandelt wurde und die ganze Stadt durchzieht".
We have a participatory research process, in which we have established contact with the main stakeholders of each site in order to identify the elements that each site has to deal with (flora and fauna, historical, ecological, social or cultural elements), from which we believe that they can include the various parts of the site, social or cultural elements), from which we believe that they can cover the various parts of the book, so that it is not only a book for children, but also a work of educational and touristic interest".
