REGINA VIARUM WINERY
Between mountains and hillsides, overlooking the canyons of the river Sil, near the city of Ourense, Galicia, is an unmissable stage for the most adventurous travelers of Spain Discovey, especially for fans of good wine. We invite you to visit Regina Viarum winery, one of the most visited projects in the region and home of the best references produced in the heart of the majestic Ribeira Sacra.
In 2001, the Gómez Araujo family undertook a very important challenge: to take up a winemaking tradition (dating back more than 20 centuries) to form one of the most innovative wineries in Galicia. Since then and thanks to the efforts of the team, the Regina Viarum winery has developed its own viticulture of height, precision and innovation, with local and international success. In fact, they were the first winery in the area to produce with the Araúxa variety (Tempranillo) and also to incorporate the vibrating destemmer for the processing of native grapes harvested at 45º of inclination.
