In 2001, the Gómez Araujo family undertook a very important challenge: to take up a winemaking tradition (dating back more than 20 centuries) to form one of the most innovative wineries in Galicia. Since then and thanks to the efforts of the team, the Regina Viarum winery has developed its own viticulture of height, precision and innovation, with local and international success. In fact, they were the first winery in the area to produce with the Araúxa variety (Tempranillo) and also to incorporate the vibrating destemmer for the processing of native grapes harvested at 45º of inclination.
